I've never used any of the blades in your list but this is the slowest blade I've ever used. Taico 200 DF. It was my first "proper" bat and had Joola Cava on my forehand and Goldway S396 on my backhand.

If we ever meet up under "have bat will travel" circumstances peterpong, you're welcome to try it out. I still have the S936 too.

OK :)

antipip who used to be active here once tried it. He used Tony Hold anti on his setup but I can't remember his blade. He thought it was slow, but not the slowest he'd used before.

Had a knock with a very good spinny looper J.Neo blocked off the bounce well but the tac c was not easy to control on the f/h-i think soft hands are needed.tsp l catcher would probably be better for blocking.
may just have to rely on the b/h block when playing against this player .

Had a knock with THWS again-neo anti & l catcher.i like this but the grubba pro feels perfect on my major shot b/h block.
i may set the second pro up with neo and l catcher.

How does the Neoanti compare to Stiga energy absorber ?
That is the only antirubber I have tried - It is quite dead and hard and therefore difficult to use in my oponion.
Have someone tried both ?

I played the covering many years in 2 mm. It is very soft and in 2 mm about as fast as a Tackiness C 1.1 mm. This makes it ideal for turning
As far as the control is concerned, the Neo Anti is, in my opinion, unrivaled among the antis, so apart from the Tonihold (which is hardly suitable for a reasonable anti-game in my opinion).
^from german forum

The BTY Super Anti is a good "block close to the table" rubber, but it don't excels in chopping, even if it works for chopping as well. If you want anti more suited for chopping, then either Nittaku Best Anti or Juic Neo anti will work better.

Also, anti's that I have tried show up great differences between red and black, but as a generalisation I would say that black is for chopping/affecting/adding spin on your own, while red is for reversing spin/blocking.

ive butchered the blog as it was full of bollocks.......................
some notes-got a call up for the first team in the summer and played one match in league one(there are 5)
very good learning curve
2-0 up and then 10-5 up in the first game-yes he came back and won
2-1 up and 10-5 up in the next-he came back and won
won the 3rd
i lost the 2 above games as i started to attack when up.i should have stayed in defence mode and played tighter.
used defplay-nba and tsp l catcher.
playing in a few winter leagues .main one is div one.
really enjoying the challenge and average is just under 40%.
using same blade as above and same rubbers.f/h does not feel right on the defplay-no substance to it-mushey and light.
b/h is great though with the antispin.
i find that i play better when chopping or blocking off the bounce-i have to be very careful when using the forehand-its just not making it.
only playing the game for 2.5yrs so im very pleased with my progress.
im still trying other blades and rubbers but always drop back to my defplay-very nice feel on the b/h. and i like the narrow handle

had a decent practice today and messed about a bit.tried to get the f/h in a lot.bad move-just stay in defence mode-boring but effective.
i have sold a lot of stuff on e bay but im keeping
2 x cut down grubba pro blades
1-grubba all plus-f/h feels good
1-dr n kung fu-feels nice but handle isnt to my tastes.
KTL Instinct table tennis blade -ive just bought this to try-very cheap
match bat is defplay senso.
im not messing around too much but i may try the antispin on the grubba all plus-this is fitted with sriver max and the f/h plays well-
ive a feeling this all plus will be too fast for me though.
i may also retry tac c in 1.9.
so in a nutshell-everything hunky dorey except im not satisfied with the f/h on the defplay
if i change blades the b/h may be compromised-very bad as this is my bread and butter :Chop:

Had a knock with al
tried some other blades & rubbers but went back to the defplay.
kung fu blade had nba and tsp l catcher-seemed a little faster than the defplay
grubba all plus-could not keep the f/h on the table-sriver max-poss too fast on b/h with nba.
will try the grubba pro with tac c 1.1 soon.
i tried the defplay a while back with tac c 1.3-didnt like it at all.i should imagine that i wont like the 1.1 either

What didn't you like about it?

1-i found it difficult to loop with.
2-it was too fast when twiddling(i use dead anti on the backhand)
3-throw angle was too high on passive f/h blocking-tac c in 1,9 is good for passive blocking
All above were on a cut down defplay blade.
i have tried a lot of thin defence rubbers and dont like the ball on wood effect.

im testing the 1.1 today but i think it will be going on e bay

Tough set of issues to work with. The only thing that comes to my mind is Tibhar Super Defense 40. Spinny, comes in a multitude of thicknesses and is a bit firmer than Tack C so may not be such a 'ball on wood' effect in the thinner ones.

could not get away with tac c 1.1-mounted on grubba pro-throw angle high and al just hit through it.
played ic using kung fu for 1 end-changed to defplay.
kung fu is canny but i think i will e bay it.
played nc,ic,and al-played well with defplay tsp l catcher and nba.
my ktl instinct blade has arrived-may try tonight.
