I disagree. The esoteric interspersal of terse descriptions of table tennis activities and heavy metal clips makes for an interesting read. As you say, the blog title does seem apt as the OP does seem to be sanguine about the lack of much (any) feedback to his blogging. </retriever debating debater>

In Germany, you can always find a Joola Tony Hold White Spot DEF MIUNS blade on the cheap! If he likes inverted to chop with, go soft sponge and a softish tensor rubber on FH and he will be having a real defender's bat for 100 Teuros or less hehe.

waran
played with cut down grubba pro and match bat using the same rubbers-player very very strong.
the pro was amazing at close to the table blocking-f/h is not bad-
rubber anti was not glued on correctly and was peeling off-
changed to match bat and still good but close to the table blocking was a lot better with the pro-chopping excellent and i did some good b/h drives.
will re glue red neo anti onto pro,

@even though d was aggressive i felt in total control of my defensive game and didnt move back much-in fact i moved him around.
with the match bat i had to graft more and played away from the table more-blocks were not as good.

practice-played w.h-i usually defend from the back with him but i was using the pro and i was blocking off the bounce-excellent control
attacked a lot aswell with the f/h.won.
did not move back much as i held my ground and had good confidence in the blade.it has slight drawbacks when compared to the all plus but my fav shot is perfect with it.blocking hard loops off the bounce.i could also do some nice b/h drives and full f/h strokes.
i believe this has to do with the flex of the blade and also the fact that the handle is thinnish.

i was given the amy but may not bother trying it
