So I will finally be able to test this for the first time tonight. I'll let you all know what my findings are. I bought the cleaner, but forgot to pack it. Should I just leave it dirty and wait to clean it when I get home? Or should I clean it with water at the club between matches?

Do not use water, just whipe it on a clean cloth. Clean when you get home.

spray 1-3 times, and start wiping immediately after in swirling motions (instead of cleaning it up and down) with dry parts of the cloth till the rubber is dry again. the idea is to polish the rubber, not to clean it

haha this is my very good croatian dark side friend:)

@peterpong hi friend, i am good...posting less, playing more:)

i am sort of disappointed with flantis a bit so i have not been posting...all dms antis i tried last a month or two before they lose their slickness...i spent too much money on that...

i am testing ABS now to see if its more durable but think about switching to gorilla 1.3 and be more aggressive bcs of this new shitty plastic balls that are not spinning enough so you cannot live from the passive reversal anymore...

i will also try some short pips over the winter brake, maybe that is the answer...

how are you, what are u playing with...been following your blog a bit but its really confusing:)

i was considering going down the megablock route with the revolution blade as i like to block close to the table.a lot of people have now moved on from that due to the new ball etc so its put me off.im playing well at the moment and improving all the time.i really like best anti in 1.8 and the defplay blade.great for blocking close to the table with a low throw angle.you can also drive with the backhand giving a nasty antispin shot.chopping is great and keeps low.i try and keep everything nice and low with the backhand.im using s/p on f/h which is a work in progress.im just scouring e bay for used short pips to try.im trying flarestorm 2 at the moment.im flipping a little here and there but you have to be carefull in matches.

hi guys,

sorry for not being more active on my blog lately...i was searching myself in a table tennis sense and reading more and writing less...

i had a good season behind me, i cant lie...in spite of the plastic balls and all...above pic and link is from the front page of our league and forum site...

my 2 teammates and me won the championship this season with maximal points, not even one draw

i was a good 2nd player of my team with an average of 2 out of 3 games through the season...won the games against all the best players of my league, and lost too many games against so called "weaker" players...because this "better" players like to spin the ball more and play aggressive and "weaker" dont...there was simple too little rotation in the game bcs of the stile and a plastic ball for my anti to have any impact on the game...

i finished the season with my standard setup; blade DMS revolution, FH Xiom Vega China, BH DrN ABS, and i am not happy with neither of it:)

blade and FH rubber are too slow and whole blade feels too light for my liking...and BH is a love-hate relationship

after the championship was over i tried gorilla 1.2 (i think with ABS sponge, but not sure) a bit to see if i can be more aggressive against the balls with less rotation, but than the blocking was much more difficult and less effective...need much more practice and maybe order the normal gorilla to see if i can block more naturally with it, more toward inverted blocking...

i also tried DrN Terminator...it is ox sp...very very dangerous but as you can guess also very difficult to play with...the balls are bouncing from it in a straight line toward the opponent side of the table on any shot...so if it drops on the table and not in the net or long, it just skids off and is very difficult to return...but i would need to dedicate a lot of time to this setup to master it...maybe i will try some less demanding sp that is also dangerous for the opponent...in the past i played with 802-40 and such sp that are like inverted but i concluded i better play inverted so i dont want to go that route...any tips?

thats all for now,

Marry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!

Stick with what you have, train with better players, devise new solutions.

Sound great about your season!

About Xiom, try the Sigma III, faster and spinnier I think. I use Omega V Pro, very nice and controlled, but Sigma is faster (harder top sheet) and generates more spin on serves, but is more difficult to control (loops has lower arc and go longer).

I have a new Gorilla in 0,6 mm, will try it later and report a little about it.

I think you would be better off with a mp than sp. But perhaps you should stay with anti?

@NextLevel i hear you man...otherwise i would agree but i feel like i am a bit limited bcs of my fanti on the bh...i have time now to test something else which will hopefully suit me better...if it doesnt i can always go back to default...

@Def-attack tnx for the sigma advice, i will try it...i dont know about mp...i can always go back to DG, the chop block move is still natural in my hand :D

I forgot you came from lp ox. That would be the best choice unless you want faster game. The once I know who uses lp ox hasn’t noticed much difference between the ABS-ball and other plastic balls.
