He doesn't have one. In the harder league which he plays Division 1 he has a 90% win rate and he has played 30 games only losing 3. In the other leagues he plays Premier division and as far as I know he is about average but those leagues are weaker. They are weaker than my other local league too.

He would be about mid Division 1 in our local league by the looks of that video.

I could compare him directly to Semi Idowu, he cannot beat Semi and he can't beat the players Semi cannot either, can only beat some of the ones he can that paly in the North Middlesex league. He is definitely not on Semi's level.

So the weekly special on Dtecs finishes this Sunday. I don't feel the need to buy that Nittaku blade (also don't really want to make a big change) as of yet. However I will buy a sheet for my JSH, I am a little hesitant as I like to have the FL2 there to try if ever I have questions in the back of my mind. Although I guess I could stick the FL2 on my Stiga ALL classic :?:
As for FH rubber, the Mark V HPS is also on sale but my mind has let go of all the curiosity in trying a new rubber lol. When my Mantra S goes dead I will consider things then

1-re the good deal-i made him a silly offer via a private message and he accepted.
2-re your game-looking good-i would be about 80% backhand and just fish the f/h onto the table.then get the pips working as much as possible.obviously if up high go for it with the f/h.

Thanks :*
Yeah I think it's just important now to find my natural playing style I lean towards and practise over and over.
I know that there are 2 things I want to practise and be more confident with asap:
1. Time to twiddle
2. FH counter loop

Last night I played for a few hours again. For the first hour and half I played round robin with a division 3 guy and a guy called Glenn whom a couple of years ago and younger used to be a very good prem player, but he fell sick and then stopped all league play and only played couple of times a week. When I was still using inverted I played him and he destroyed me but this time I won without dropping a set. We played about 8-10 sets and only 1 of those went to 10-10.
I tried both my JSH/FL2 1.1 and VKM/Dtecs OX. He commented my first bat (VKM/Dtecs OX) was much harder to play against pips wise.
I was focusing on attacking a bit more with FH last night though, so rather than just fish I would often loop the first or 2nd instead if I was in a good potision. My FH with the JSH was noticeably better, especially mid distance.

After that my friend Vuong came and we played a further hour and half. I was given a Tenergy 80 so I was testing that with a stiga Mantra S on the other side, was nice to play double inverted again as it reminded me I don't like this play style  I still have a decent BH but no strong loop.
When I was done testing the tenergy I went back to my chopping bats and felt at home again lol.

I also played with both bats but again focusing on attacking more with FH and this time I won both games 3 sets straight only 1 going to 10-10. My FH again was noticeably better with the JSH. I can't wait to get the Dtecs I ordered from TT11 so I can stick it on the JSH.

Overall I can say I am just simply loving table tennis right now and I feel so comfortable when playing. I can feel slowly slowly my improvement and natural game style coming out and I am loving every minute of it

So I got my Dtecs OX in the post today and straight away glued it onto my JSH to play with tonight.
I got a good knock today doing mostly matches but with some good players I cannot beat but at least I am keeping the games close.

There was one specific lady I played against though and I am sure @Dunc (I don't know how to tag him lol) will know who she is, her name is Sandy Nash. She plays a lot in tournaments as well as having a decent score in a couple of Premier Division leagues although I believe both are not strong leagues. Anyway I don't know what you know of her or how good you feel she is but I beat her today quite comfortably.

I played with my JSH + Dtecx OX against everyone except for a Polish guy called Lek or something that used to play the 1st division in what was the strongest league back when I played 6 years ago with a good win rate too. Against him I played a best of 5 with JSH then best of 5 with the VKM then another best of 3 with the JSH. I lost all games but the first one was really close. The other 2 not too close but still competitive. Although by then I was absolutely drained and struggling to focus.

I am torn a bit with this session but will continue to play with the JSH and VKM to see which blade I will stick with to prepare for next season which I will join. I found with the JSH my FH was stronger and more dangerous away from the table but I made a few too many mistakes close to the table (which got less with time). Overall quite happy with it though, just need to keep trying them both to see which one really compliments my game more.

Good stuff mate.As mentioned before aim to play the top players and get close if you can.You will then get an indication on what blade and gear works for you.I have a similar chopping style but i try and play close to the table.i also move away and chop.it took me ages to get the right combo.I did try a JSH that i bought from e bay.i found it very fast and it didnt fit my style.I have 2 blades that i think you should try.they are both chopping blades and give more control than the blades you have.
1-donic defplay
2-butterfly grubba pro(not made anymore)
if you want to try them let me know and i can post.
you can then pay for the p & p and have a free trial.
is the vkm blade you have the vkm defence?

Its the regular Victas Koji Matsushita. I like it tbh I feel I have a lot of control with it, just sometimes you get the questions in your head 'what if my FH was faster' etc. The JSH definitely allows my FH fishing and mid distance looping to be more effective, and surprisingly the chopping was good too, I just want to play more and see if it has more reversal as a hard blade should reverse more with OX right?

Ah you're going to tempt me to try something new again. The Donic Defplay I see a lot of people like though, how is that directly compared with the VKM? faster, slower, harder?

Thanks for the offer btw

This blade?
http://en.dandoy-sports.eu/donic-defpla ... senso.html

or this one?
http://en.dandoy-sports.eu/donic-defplay-senso-v3.html

They are both really cheap actually so might be a good shout to get it and try. If I did consider to try another blade it would likely be the Nittaku Shake Defense since I tried it and really liked it with OX pips.

But as it stands I will continue to play a lot with the VKM and JSH until I settle with 1 before trying another. I won't be changing pips but FH rubber in the future could perhaps change to the Stiga Mantra M.

I noticed I don't go as far back as the usual chopper though, which might make a difference with blades

i could kick myself.both of the above defplays were on e bay and went for about £13 each.i had them in my watch list but started watching some porn(dont tell the wife).i missed the auction and they went.the classic has balsa in its construction.
i was very impressed with the ox dtecs on the defplay and the control was brilliant.
i have the normal defplay and not the classic.the grubba pro is a little faster and has more flex.
the defplays are softish though and as you say harder blades may give more effect.i noticed a lot of wobble with the defplay though.
the antispin i use is nasty and can confuse a lot of division one players so its worth considering.
the security is amazing and chopping is perfect with the defplay.
ive used a few long pips and i found ox dtecs to be a good match.some other pips are unplayable with my style.

You know what I worry about (but I could be wrong) is that the softer I go the less reversal I get mid distance which is where I play 75% of the time. The VKM is already quite soft (feels it anyway) compared to the harder feeling of the JSH. But I really want to confirm it with playing partners if they see a difference in spin. The Nittaku Shake Defence has a noticeable difference in spin reversal with the exact same stroke mid distance.

But yeah for that price I could consider getting a defplay just because why not. The NSD on the other hand I would rather wait till sale
