To my dismay, Table Tennis isn't included in their list of sports. In fact, I was surprise that Lawn Balls was being funded!

I wonder what it takes to get Table Tennis in the list?

I still can't understand why table tennis isn't promoted highly in our community as a sport?
Example being the club that we represent Mounties (Mt. Pritchard) would be one of the strongest clubs in Sydney, thanks goin to Kiet...
but every time the monthly newsletter comes around. There's updates, schedules and info on the other sports that mounties have besides the table tennis (ie bowls, football, snooker, darts, chess and so on).... which we play regularly on a weekly basis the Quinlan Shield and the Western District Competition.

A very good question! Something to ask TT AU I guess... I would love to find out the reason...

You mean the Juniors? (The Youth champs was held in NSW.)

Jon (jon2874? some crappy number) is down there representing SA

A few kids from my club went down as well - Carl Blucher (qld u18), Luke, Sean and David, all on the U13 boys qld and Nina, on the U18 girls.

I'll be going down to have a look , and will let you know.... I'm a little confused about the locations, it's well away from the city (near Gawler in a Gym) .. and we have so many decent venues much closer to the rest of Adelaide... perhaps it's related to the accommodation costs... not sure...

TTA booked the venue a little too late and the MasterGames got in first. So the venue is somewhere outside the city (so I've been told).

Feedback from one of the juniors here is that NSW had a contingent of 73? Haggisv can probably verify.
