Supercore discontinued fast?

The originals Supercores have been around for years and years. I wouldn't be surprised if it has been around for almost 10 years now. It's only recently since I think Andro decided to refresh their whole line...

Well, to me it seemed like they were discontinues pretty suddenly. The SC Off has been my first real blade and right after the season I bought it in, it was discontinued...
The SC Cell series is nothing compared to these blades.

Hi All,

I have a few (7 or so) blades and bats.

Below is blade I just finished removing the very old rubber and glue from, given to me by my French friend circa 1960, 4 wood plies 5mm thick, weight 108 grams, feels pretty fast.
Anyone know what brand it might be, or seen one similar?

I'll post more pics of my other bats as I get a chance.

Latest acquisition Wavestone, tried it didn't like it so much. 92 grams

Here's mine. I apologize for the low quality of pics. I'll try and get more shots with my sis's DSLR.

Here my current blade. The forehand and the blade are steady, but on the backhand I want to test two short pimples (Friendship 802-40 and later Friendship 799).

TSP Defense Classic (speed: ~ALL-) // FH: Vega Europe 1.8 // BH: Friendship 802-40 1.5

Here the link with a summary of a few photos.

Greetings :).

I posted a few days ago asking about this style of handle - http://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=15063. From the replies and from other investigation, it seems that both Stiga (Stiga Ehrlich) and Butterfly (Bty Swedish Style) made blades with similar handles; the blade shape is also consistent with that era as well. According to "those who know these things", this photo shows the BH.

What really intrigues me, however, is the number and alignment of the holes. I think that all of the photos I've seen so far show only two rows of holes with five on the longer edge and six on the shorter. This is the first time I've seen a handle with three rows of holes.

Hey, good to see you LawOCG!

Wow that handle looks very shiny! Doesn't it get slippery with sweaty hands?
