I don't know anything about it, and believe me, I've searched.
I got it given to me in New Zealand, the topsheet and sponge seperately. I've searched Google and emailed Donic, and neither have shown up with anything! Donic don't know a thing about it!

I do LOVE this topsheet and sponge combination though.

Your Venus is pretty high up from the handle. Is there any reason why it's so high up, unless your a Pen hold player?

I got given the Venus, and it was already cut to a penhold blade. I was a bit doubtful at first, but after trying it, and thankfully finding that it was my FH rubber rather than my BH (which could lead to some trouble with the shakehand grip), it hasn't troubled me AT all.

My setup which I'm sticking with for the new season is a 729 Red Spirit, rated all round plus, with Gambler Outlaw 2.2mm (about five weeks old) on my forehand and TSP Spectol 21 1.8mm (a few days old) on my backhand.



I was using a faster setup, but after 4 months off with injury it proved too fast and uncontrollable for me so I've swapped some speed for more control.

ed: no comments about the fluffy dice please!

Great video debater, i don't think I've ever seen such a well presented video on showing your own equipment.

Thanks, seemed like a natural thing to do now I've finally decided on my setup. Maybe others can post videos too, especially as mobile phones can give great results too - as you already know metal monkey from the playing videos you've posted in the forum members video section and which I've enjoyed watching.
