I thought it would be worthwhile to compile a list of un-written rules, or etiquette in table tennis. What I mean by this is rules that people commonly abide by as a courtesy or good sportmanship, but these are not written down anywhere.

I'll start off with a few, and will add those that others suggest:

For game play:
1. When you lead a game 10-0, you try your best to give your opponent a point.
2. Don't cho when your opponent misses a serve, or when you get a net or edge. Better yet, don't cho. (Baal)
3. When your ball goes into another court, don't enter the court until the players on that court finish their point. And if there are barriers on the sides, let them get the ball for you. (Baal)
4. Never use flash photography in a TT club, especially if there is a match going on. (Baal)
5. Don't talk loud across or near a court where a match is being played. (Baal)
6. Shake your opponent's hand after the game no matter what happened during the game (Red_lion)
7. Apologise for nets, edges or shots off your hand or bat edge, etc (Retriever)
8. The moment another ball comes in your playing area call let and return ball. (ebark63)

During warmup:
1. Don't smash the ball or try to win the point, and allow your opponent to warm up.

General:
1. Don't walk in front of video recorders while someone is recording. (ebark63)

Those are two good ones.

I can add one. Don't cho when your opponent misses a serve, or when you get a net or edge. Better yet, don't cho.

It's challenge night at the ping pong club. There are ten tables. One of them has 2500 players. Five of them have 1700-2000 players. You are 1650. Don't challenge the table with the 2500 players and expect them to play with you.

Maybe this requires a third category of "general".

You are on table 1. Your friend is on table 3. Some other guys are trying to play a match on table 2. If there is something you need to say to your friend on table 3 that requires more than a few words and just can't wait -- something beyond "hi, how are you doing" -- don't carry on the conversation from a distance in a loud voice. This is especially true if the conversation is going to be in some language that is commonly spoken in high volume. If it really is urgent, excuse yourself for a second, leave your court, walk to table 3 and say what needs to be said without shouting it. Then come back to your table and resume play.

Actually this is not so much of an unwritten rule, as something I wish would happen.

After the game

1) Shakehand with your opponent specially if you lose
2) Say thank you when your opponent complimented your game.

Apologise for nets and edges that you get.
I also apologise for shots off the edge of my bat that go in.

Does just "slapping" hands count a shaking hands? Some people do a formal shake, others just slap hands, never grabbing. I'm fine with either, honestly.

I tend to slap hands with my friends, and shake hands with those I don't know as well.

I'm sure we feel like doing that at times, and we can imagine doing it, but we can't actually do it.
