I'm not sure where to post it, so I'll post it here where it can generally fall under.

Does anybody know an Adidas sponsored player? I haven't seen/heard of a top competitor in the sport who uses Adidas equipment. Also, please feel free to post your own questions and discussions about Adidas in this thread.

I've also been wondering, if Adidas has entered the Table Tennis world, why hasn't Nike?

Blade: Hugo Calderano OFF+
FH: Hexer Powergrip 2.1
BH: Hexer Powergrip 2.1
Jonathan Groth from Denmark is sponsored by Adidas.

The P7 rubbers are good and the 2 blades I got [Avenger 5] were very nice. I use their shoes I i find them very comfortable for my feet although there is some wear appearing on the side meshing that is rather disappointing but that's only visual at the moment not structurally detrimental.

I see on your sig you use Adidas equipment. How would you say their stuff compares to the more popular choices like butterfly, donic, yasaka, etc etc.?

I think that adidas neither fabricates blades nor rubbers. They buy both, so the difference between a P7 and any other ESN rubber is only the name of the brand. So they don't "make" good stuff, other companies do it for them ;-)

Not all esn rubbers are the same, just because they share the same manufacturer! True to say there are similarities, maybe...

They are quite good as far as comparison goes. I prefer the Xiom Vega Pro to the P7, and I actually just sold this set up to another player and moved back to a timoboll ALC with Vega Pro on it as it has a little more speed off the table where I'm stronger and I like the feel of that combination more after a season of training.

As for how they compare over all. The blades were really well made and finished and both I got were very consistent weights. Also the rubbers felt just as good and any of the ESN produced sheets for andro and donic and had durable topsheets as well as consistency over the sponge thickness and weights (as you would expect with good quality control).
