The highest ranked played I have beaten was ranked number 13 in the men in England. I had a good day and he had a bad day and I ended up winning 11-9 in the fifth with a net to finish. I'm very glad I got the net too as I would probably have cracked if it had gone to 10 all.

This was at my first Grand Prix and at the time I was unranked so I suppose it might have surprised a few people (no one more than me) but it was always going to be downhill from there. Although I have beaten several men ranked 50-100, I don't suppose I will get a win like that again.

This season (when I played) I beat a player and it was the first time I beat him. It was also his first defeat since 2 years championship. He also have a beter ranking than I have.
I was really happy to win (even if he tries to find false reasons for this)

People will always try to find excuses for losing, so as not to lose face and to try and maintain a competitive advantage for next time. Just laugh at them (inwardly) and say bad luck mate as you shake their hand. As long as you remember the next time you play them that you were better than them this time, you should be able to beat them again.

I enjoy beating the smug, superior types.
