A REALLY REALLY old Butterfly catalog has been posted here:

http://www.mytabletennis.net/forum/foru ... in-my-hand

Looks more like a trifold pamphlet, actually. Pre-Sriver, pre-Tempest, even. Comet??

Note the rubbers - came in "C4" or "D13".

Another pamphlet, perhaps. This one is 4-fold.

What was the name of the 1980ish ergonomic Butterfly blade, that was sculpted for the hand?

Can't swear to it, but I think it was called the "Anatomic".

The old butterfly anatomic is quite different from the usual everyday anatomic handles that we see today.

I had the "English style" probably 45 years ago...

Anatomic of course, Thanks. Dis some searches for ergonomic, sculpted and a few others, but no luck.
I wanted to buy it around 1980 - but then it was too expensive for a young lad.

Anyone here that know of one for a sensible price, just as a memorabilia racket?

I had the chance to play with the Kenny, Swedish, American, English Butterfly blades in the mid 70's. I used to borrow from my dorm mates. Tempest and Sriver were the cutting edge rubbers back then. Learned to play on a Tamasu D-13 bought by my mom. This was a notch cheaper than the Butterfly "style" blades. These catalogues brings me back to my childhood when I used to window shop, browsing the catalogs for fun things beyond my reach. Forty years later . . . Butterfly blades are still beyond my reach . . . . ha ha ha.

My first custom bat (courtesy of Paddle Palace) was a Swedish Style.
