OOAK Table Tennis Forum

Our association has just released the first issue of a new table tennis Newsletter called "Table Talk". As Marketing director of TTSA (Table Tennis South Australia) I'm the editor of the newsletter, so I've been spending a great deal of time putting it all together, as well as writing some of the articles.
Our state has an estimated 200 clubs or groups that play table tennis, but they're spread over a very area with little communication between them. The idea of the newsletter to keep everyone informed of what's going on in table tennis, hopefully build up the community and promote our sport. You can find Table Talk Issue 1 here.

Great initiative haggisv. Enjoyed thefirst issue. Any upcoming events would be really handy. Perhaps some coaching tips or even equipment care. Our club intends to email it out to all members which a lot are beginners so don't forget them. Great stuff.

Lovin' the magazine

Very little is said and known about what's happening in our sport. Finally an avenue for positive minded people to expand on what we have.

Keep up the great work.

I just had a quick look. It sort of reminds me of the old TTNSW magazine, now defunct, mostly, called Loop.

I suppose that others have already told you that there is something not quite grammatical about one of the headings ...

You could do worse than give yours a less prosaic name. "Loop" of course had at least 2 meanings - the normal TT one and the one to do with keeping people updated about what was going on.

That's a good name! The name of ours came from an edition many years ago, that people seemed to have good memories off. It was before my time, but since they seemed to like it, we stuck with it.

Should be

"South Aussies on the International Scene"

or possibly

"South Aussies on the Scene Internationally"

The word "internationally" is an adverb, not an adjective.

... or you could play with the words without affecting the meaning, such as

South Aussies Internationally Seen

On second thought drop that suggestion because it suggests they were lost, hiding or missing in action (MIA)

But, yeah, the title error spotted by Retriever is accurate!
