Fantastic app Brett

Thanks Andy. It's getting better every week imo. I'm personally looking forward to next week's update as I want faster speeds in the games for my own training and experimentation.

I've been playing the app quite a lot and then playing matches against some local juniors where I live. I feel like I'm reading the play pretty early at the moment although it's always hard to quantify how much the app is actually contributing.

In the next update, Trevor will be starting rallies with a forehand flick and following up with blocks and topspin off both wings. Hopefully we will have the 4 different levels for both William and Trevor's game.

Four difficulty levels would be nice. I just lost 64 consecutive points to William before eking out an 11-1 defeat, and it seems a bit useless.

Don't react until he hits the ball ubless you are 100% sure where he is going. If you want to practice your anticipation skills, use the drills that is replicated in the combos section of the multiball.

Guys, while I know we are the guinea pigs, I have come to accept that these are World class players who have built the technique to hit balls to different spots on the table with similar looking swings and racket angles. Maybe in practice, you can try and anticipate 100% but in a match, you have to do what it takes to win.

This intermediate level William blocks a lot. Why are you rushing when he is going to block? For me, the hardest parts are surviving that backhand flick and dealing with that annoying backhand topspin to the middle. Once you can restrain yourself from following the racket and allow the ball to reveal itself, at least at this level, the game is playable. May not work at the faster levels but it should let you score more points at this one.

So learning where the flick is going is great. From there I'm about as good as BRS. Sometimes I think I'm fast serving on myself tho. Ready time doesn't seem as consistent. Could just be me.

Beginner level would be to return that flick!

Yes. The quicker you guess, the faster the app plays.

Yes, there needs to be an easier level for sure.

One thing I'm very interested in is how players perform in their very first game. There is a direct correlation between a player's level and their initial abilities on the app. I've watched beginners lose 11-0 which obviously makes sense, but experienced players have no trouble winning. I've also watched beginners improve rapidly after the first hour of play and even start beating the game.

These were not my first games, I had played it less than ten games before, with a best of 3-11. I lose occasional points because the Lifeproof case on my cracked phone blocks the swipe. Mostly though I am just terrible. I may try waiting longer, per NL, and per Brett, playing for one solid hour to see if I can win a game.

These games are fun and all but we need more serves in the app. Seriously.

Finally won one 11-7 after about 35 minutes. I have to wait until the ball is in flight to swipe. If I try to go early I guess wrong more than half the time.

I hear you NL.

For me personally, the games are the most significant part of the app atm. I'd like to be able to read the play half as well as Waldner and I'm dying to see brain change in that area. I agree that adding serves is a good thing too of course and I'd like to see that.

There are plans for the app that I can't talk about until proper agreements are in place with other parties. I'm pretty excited about the possibilities being discussed.

I also think it's interesting where the mind goes. The eyes maybe focusing somewhere, but where is the subject's attention?

There will be no update this weekend and I'm not even sure about the following weekend. The app has progressed a lot since last week and it's tempting to put it out there. The next update will include a pathway for you to progress along and it something we don't want to be changing, meaning it needs to be fairly complete before releasing it.
