1- bringing back single colour rule, still you can use red and black rubber if you like
2- no aspect ratio limit
3- cancelling the ban of frictionless long pimples

...errr, 1. one

I'd say no 3, as this there was never any (reasonable) justification for it, at least not at the elite levels where is wasn't even used!

Yep, 3. It was unjustified and they had no real argument for it, it felt like it was voted through by people that have no knowledge on the matter and it simply felt like a corrupt decision. I might get flak for this but I actually think the two color rule was a good change, I completely understand those who thought it was unjustified as well but I think that you should be able to tell which rubber your opponent hits the ball with without having to read the trajectory.

Agreed on 3. I've seen players chastised for using a banned rubber, and I've even been chastised for using legal pips just because people are only half educated. And it instigated plenty of "ban all LPs" comments from lots of people. Just a totally debilitating rule that was totally unnecessary.

No. 1 - No reason we shouldn't be able to go monocolor with the same rubber on both sides.

Variant of 3, cancelling limitation on friction and "trampoline" effects. :)

 Number 3 ... I agree with Haggisv I also can't see any benefit only misunderstanding with players either thinking all LP's are illegal or just people angry that you are using them. :headbang: :swear:
As I say just because I use LP it just doesn't happen as you need the skills to use them.

I think 1 is probably fair enough maybe so I'll say 3.

Having said that, i think bouncing off the lights and still going on should be your 4th option. Takes a lot of skill . :)

Having to use table tennis rubbers from the ITTF authorised rubber list or do away with a "let" serve.

Blade: Tsp Black Balsa 3.0
FH: t05 1.9 boosted

For lp aspect ratio rule relaxed
For inverted freedom to boost, not everyone can afford Tenergies and are disadvantaged,if it`s ok to factory boost it should be ok for the individual

I'd vote for rescinding the rules that disallow boosting, myself, for somewhat different reasons. The main reason is that it's unenforceable. If you believe Herr Boll, a large number of the top pros are boosting, and if you believe what was posted here recently every top player (pro or not) who uses Hurricane is boosting. There's no way to detect it or prevent it without either brute-force intrusive methods (tournament-supplied bats, anyone? ) or unrealistically large investment in unproven and expensive technology.

The problem, of course, is HOW you're going to allow boosting without allowing other kinds of sheet alteration. If you allow tampering with rubber sheets you could easily allow people to anti-fy sheets of Tenergy, for instance. Or (horrors!) apply epoxy to the tips of long pips to make the frictionless stuff. So the actual wording of the rules is the problem. As they often say, the devil is in the details.

using black inverted and black sponged lp ( or anti) with good twiddling ...a very dangerous weapon...your lp can be under the aspect ratio limits, no problem...
