What do you think happened with speed glue for many years? As far as I know, it was not until the threat of legal action (can't remember the reference for that) that the ITTF took any real action, after promises to bring in a ban on it at least once if not twice.

I recall being at a Youth Olympics event back a few years ago where a couple of tables were provided just outside the front doors of the venue for gluing bats, and every single one of the participants bar one was to be found there every morning before play started for the day, gluing up.

I'm not sure this crude innuendo belongs on a forum that can be read by children. Inappropriate, rude, personal and off-topic.

Simply pointing out that it highly annoys certain people. That's not innuendo.

"Up your keister" = up your ***. I find it personally insulting and inappropriate for a G-rated forum. Perhaps Haggisv can weigh-in on whether it's acceptable to use expressions like this toward other members of this forum.

I can't say that I've heard this term before, but the fact is that little sarcastic remarks like this are personal and can so easily make people angry.

I don't think that's helpful on a public forum, as it will just divide us and create friction.

So I suggest we stay on topic, and stop making remarks that provoke other members.

What was the topic again ? I got sidetracked by all the comments

Oh yeah ! That new TT11.com article about TT History or something! I thought EmRatThich coach was working on some TT History stuff ??

From those articles, the veteran player + coach mentioned something about sponge alone making stuff too fast ! ? And about the Foot-stomping rule getting over-turned ? And something about Bat-doping !!!! Speed-gluing !

So "provoking other members" by chucking rocks at ITTF is "OK" because it's "not personal", but when someone objects or chides you for it, even in a joking, sarcastic manner, that's "personal" and not "OK"? That gets up MY kiester..

By the way.. I got it wrong. It's actually spelled "keister" and it's in Wikipedia:

Adverts do claim this rubber needs no more enhacement/ booster. The product is of ready use.

Does putting FZD's name on the sponge make it faster? This is obviously DHS' attempt to capitalize on a commercial version of a certain "national blue version". Just like all these w968's, they are mass produced and not subject to "national team" inspection. I'm with the camp you will never get what they have.

I don't dope. But for these "factory doped" rubbers that shrivel-up over time, I pump them with speed glue so they fit back correctly (one time and dry, not before matches).

That being said. If you visit China, land of the most TT players, VOC testing does not occur in local tournaments and you can smell the Haifu Whale everywhere. How does that make your keisters feel?

Looks like some of those questionable "personal rubbers". Supposedly a lot of these being sold in China for lots of money, and they can't ALL be genuine for obvious reasons. I've seen websites that were offering "personal rubbers" that were made for Ma Long, Xu Xin, etc. etc.

I don't think there are "personal 896s" per se - what probably happens is they'll put together 20 or 30 896s in a narrow requested weight range, give them to whoever is asking for the new blades, and he/she chooses the ones he/she likes best. The "personal" blades would the ones the player actually chooses, maybe plays with for a short time and decides to give away/sell...

I don't think national team players have any motivation to "sell" their stuff. Besides, would you rather take the chance on a factory fresh, or certified reject?

FISHING FOR BOOSTERS.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGv7oOOd4Po
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw3KqzHcDnw
The given boosting agent (labeled as LIDU oil) still remains detectable by the Magic Eye spectrometer wave length 400--1200 nm, as currently adopted by ITTF.
LIDU molecules did diffused all over into the sponge innermost structure and can be recognized immediately.
We have now got typical spectrogrammes with 16 booster samples in our Spectrum's Library. It's no problem for us to purchase booster samples from any marketplace worldwide, and YUTUBE video is a great pointer to disclose all the drug dealers.
Yes, fishing for illegal boosters and policing for drug traffic are much alike. It is much like a hunting zeal in your vein, I love it indeed.

NB// Some good news came up now. The two (in)famous drug dealers of Beringer International and TRF were lost of their formal stature as FIT affiliated members.
