Wow! That IS really cool. And a great idea. One issue though...with the projection you need to have a dark room. You'd lack opponent visual/feedback. Kind of hard to see the spin. Is this a real product?

Ha. The table itself looks spindly and fragile. The shots were weak, the "training" with the "targets" looks bogus - kinda what a basement player would think table tennis training involves. And the music is horrible... :lol:

(I wonder if it's all not fake..)

If they could turn the table into a Giant LCD screen, it would work a lot better, and would work in full light conditions. No doubt the material would affect the bounce though... but if they make make one with a similar bounce, I think there might be some demand... if the cost is not too high.

If it can log speed and position of each ball in a rally and maybe even measure revs on the ball as it touches the table (and graph it all) it would be a good assessment tool of your training rather than more of a gimmick. This would require a normal bounce of course though.
