Some other options, not as close to Orlando as CFTTC obviously, since it's right there.

Thanks for info.

Lakeland I cant see a contact for - would like to check it's on, and see if they have a coach! (aha found them on facebook!)

Cocoa seems very out of date - but at least they have an email.

Be keen to find out more about Central Florida, as it's nearest.....kinda didn't find them very inviting!

Biggest club in the area.. great playing conditions..
There is another club near CFTTC at a mall but I have not been there yet..
I usually play Fridays but recently, have had little chance to play there or any other club.. got too many other things going on.

Just an update in case it helps anyone...

I tried contacting all the TT clubs listed....only Central Florida got back to me...I asked abut coaching then it went dead again!

So I just turned up on a Friday. Very welcoming. Good conditions (although I don't like floors where the ball doesn't bounce - make me look silly in my pre-service routine!).

It seemed the good players were in a group on 4 tables - a couple looked good, in they had all the kit and were doing drills...others I think must have paid for coaching as didn't look that great.

I was pointed to tables (8) where you put your name on a board for a table and it's winner stays on. As I was there ealry, there was only one other guy there...Ted from Daytona I think he said. He confessed to being a a self taught basement player. We knocked for a bit - he played short pips one side, so blocked by attacks, so got some good drills - then we played a match which was one sided in my favor...one I got used to his unorthodox style.

It seemed quite list had build on my table, so any hopes of mingling with the coach group looked a long way off!

I comfortable beat 3 more guys - one with an amazingly spinney loop but weak loop, and a left handed junior playing a typical modern game, before succoming to, I think, an Eastern European, who was around my level, but I was pretty tired by now being my 6th game in a row without a rest, and getting a blister from my holiday running shoes! In truth, pride aside, it was relief to get off the table and go home for a shower!

Defo would visit again. I think they need to work on their online communications a bit though...as I'd have visited more often, and bought my proper gear, if I'd had proper communications...but I was a bit unsure what I'd find.
