At the university, it is becoming increasingly difficult to monitor your performance, it is difficult to combine training and study. I am sure that this is a common problem for many athletes. How do you deal?

I understand, and what about it? This forum oriented for sportsmans so what's the problem? I thought it's a normal situation, cuz some people really train for a long time for results and studying becomes much more difficult. So hope somebody will help me, forums were made for it, I thought(

I found it became too difficult to play regularly (at any reasonable level), and ended up not playing for more than 25 years.

Hi Hogobill,

I'm not sure what level you are at or what your aspirations have, but Ahtletes (even olympians) find balance between competitive training and education.

Also, university life can be stressful, but is not all that difficult in the grand scheme of things. You can sugar coat it any way you want, but the only thing you can do is find your own motivation to suck it up and keep pushing. Life can and will get much harder afterwards.

For most of us hobbyist players, there are usually long sabbaticals where work/life takes precedent over table tennis. If the pressure is getting to you, take some time off, you can always come back to the game at a later stage. (For most people) education/credentials are much more valuable than sports achievements, no matter how glorious they may feel at the time.
