Hi there, Just thinking I would like to try a slow blade ie medium and a hard tacky rubber. I have been playing for a few years now, more of less socially, Iam getting on in years , but I want to improve my game.I have been watching some chinese videos and they seem to differ from the western type of blade and rubber. It was suggested by them that a slower blade and hard tacky rubber (poss medium) would be the way to go.I currently use 2.2 868 kokutaku rubber on an all round bat. I like to spin serve and smash when the opportunity is there..I would like to get some suggestion from your experience , before I take the plunge. Ok so there is a problem, I cannot pay too much for blade and rubber.. I do understand that you get what you pay for etc....but I have noted on some forums that there are cheaper equivilents for some blades and rubbers..Nevertheless with Christmas on the way I might be able to persuade some members of the family..lol Regards Charlie.

Sounds like you are already using what you describe. I recently used an n11 with the 868 and it did what you want well.

T11+? That's a balsa + carbon blade - definitely not slow!

No way, don't go the T 11, it's ridiculously fast.
