Hey all. I need list of players who use the combo of a Joo Blade with P-1R. Pros or Elite amateurs.
For research and videos.

Seems as though he's permanently switched to Dtecs. I haven't seen a video of him using P-1R for a while. Or am I wrong about that? He typically uses Red P-1R and Black Dtecs.

Or does he now use black in both? I havent' kept up.

I don't believe he has used dtecs for several years.

Correct. He always uses a black P1-R, xexcept for one or two times as an experiment (a failed one). Since a couple of years now he has switched to P1-R again.

Elite amateur? Me?

You're using P-1R there? Why'd you change? Is that pre-SP?

Nope. Just post SP. SP was way to hard to train with. If I can find someone who can loop 5 in a row consistently against my LP chop I am lucky....SP chop it's more like 2 lol. Less consistency from them = worse training for me.

Wait, are you telling us opponents have trouble looping SP chop?

*goes to tt-japan.net to research few SP rubbers*

;)

Yes. But it's also way harder to do then a LP chop.

The grippier the surface, the harder to chop with control. But the grippier the surface, the more potential for variation and deception, and the more potential to generate your own spin and thus create balls that are harder to loop. I have found it hardest to loop inverted chops or play inverted choppers who can chop my loops properly. The long pips ones, especially DTecs, I tend to know my spin range and live within it so I find them easiest to play. Then those with short pips or grippy long pips like FL2 or FL3 I have to adjust to as I tend to play against them less frequently.
