About Zylon:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zylon

Life-vests with Zylon now have a lifespan-guarantee of just 30 month, so this material seems to be quite unstable over time. I don't know if this too is the case with rackets but knowing it makes me want one of these SZLC/ZLC blades even less.

On the other hand, you aren't trying to stop bullets with your bat, you're getting the bat because the Zylon imparts some vague acoustic properties that make it feel better when looping. Even if it won't stop bullets after 30 months, it might still do whatever it's supposed to be doing when used in a blade.
