Does anyone have data (or an opinion :) ) whether 'choing' is mostly what attackers do? Don't think I've seen defenders doing it much - they are usually a silent type, I think.

Interesting thought and as a whole I would say the cho less than attackers. But I can tell you for a fact that Filus, Shiono, and Ericson cho a lot!

Joo/Gionis/Xi cho a moderate amount.

Chtchetinine barely at all.

It all depends on the nature of the struggle. Most defenders reserve their chos for specific moments in the match where they want to really get into your head. Most of the ones I play cho, and one of them choed me into submission once.

This great, but Rather dangerous, :D

When You are sponsored by, lets say Donic, care should be made to not to accidentally shout, "Tenergy!" :P

ROFL... For your edification.

Yeah, I always thought "Cho" came from "Hao Cho" (you hear Chinese commentators say this a lot when watching a game). "Chu"? Not only Ma Long, Adar Alguetti does that..

Note the guidelines on when to cho... The last part.. sounds like tennis (when Sharapova's on the court..)

Oh God ! Don't watch the second half of that video ! Unless you want to hear a lot of ear-shattering throat gargling for 5 mins :-P I don't want to spoil it for ppl who like that sort of thing, but its crazy screaming.

Correction: I believe it is only 30 seconds of the gargy-bargy but it sure felt like an eternity ! Must have been hell for their opponents! :whew: :headbang:

I hate cho'ers. I really hate over-cho'ers. But I am in awe of this kid's game.

Plus, he's very respectful off the court, and says the cho'ing calms him down.

I still don't like it, and wish he could stop, but I've come around a bit on him, rooting for him more than not. Just...shhhh a little.
