Singapore TT Meet-up!

I'm going to Singapore in a couple of weeks time and this time I'll be accompanied by the famous Peter79 himself.

We're excited to meet fellow forum member who are in Singapore and to have a chance to play TT together.

So far the schedule is as follows:
Wednesday night at Toa Payoh 7pm onward.
Thursday night open for meet and play.
Friday morning at Yishun Sports Hall 10am onward.

Please let us know whether you can meet and play together.

Five hours by bus... Three hours in line at Tuas to get my passport stamped (have you seen how many Chinese tourists there are these days?). Cheapest hotels cost about as much as a sheet of Tenergy per night.. Naah... Singapore used to be a great holiday destination, it isn't one any more unless you're loaded and want to visit the casino or Sentosa Island.

No way. I stay at hostel, about 30sgd per night. Great location with lots to eat at night, about next to subway station. Meal about 4-6sgd, coffee at 1.5-2sgd. Still cheap/very affordable I'd say.

Did a quick check, round trip airplane Kuala Lumpur to Singapore for the above dates turned out to be about 85sgd all in. Darn cheap. I paid about 3 times as much.
For 85sgd I wouldn't drive 5 hours and queue in line for hours. I'd fly. Immigration takes 5-10 minutes to pass through. I've been going there every year for the last 4 years or so, at times twice a year. Never once immigration took more than 20 minutes.
