1. On the rise typically. Can be aggressive and directly off the bounce, can be later but usually before peak height.

2 and 3. It depends, you have plenty choices. You can counterspin over the table. You can hit near peak with full power. You can set it sink a bit, maybe even go for safety.

Thank you so much, Sir.

And which part of racket (for drive stroke) should hit to the ball for those incoming balls;
1. incoming drive ball, 2. incoming forehand topspin ball an d 3. incoming topspin ball?

1. The center of the blade. Sweet spot.

2, 3. Probably slightly more towards the top of the racket, although at my level of play my first goal is to hit it with good contact, avoiding edge clips. I’m not mm accurate.

I find it hard to force a specific area of the racket. Sweetspot for blocking, but naturally falls nearer to the tip for offensive shots.

I think answer #1 (and #2/3 support it too) is the "right" answer for amateur players.

We are simply not good enough to hit these "other" places on the bat 100 out of 100 attempts or anywhere acceptably near that.

Plus, NOT hitting the center of bat makes the bat "Shake" at impact giving inherent inconsistent results... which means you miss more than you want.

It just makes sense to aim for center of bat each time and have the consistency and other positive aspects of a quality shot help you pressure or win the point.
