OOAK Table Tennis Forum

This morning, as I was perusing the back page of our local newspaper over breakfast as is my wont, my attention was caught by the mention of, first ping pong, then later table tennis, being used as one of a number of bonding activities used by the local NRL team (rugby league).

It hasn't been winning much recently so the writer had not wanted to mention the last NRL match they played, so instead concentrated on the next match. They will be using ping pong or table tennis (and Play Station and a team dinner) again as apparently they did this in the lead up to a couple of previous matches which they won earlier in the season.

We could have told them that the answer to life, the universe and everything lies in the raw brutality of gladiatorily jousting against your opponent at the other end of a table with net, armed with a bat to propel a small white ball, rather than the effete tip toeing through the tulips of rugby league.
