1) Was playing a practice game and when blocking the ball hit the face of my watch on the playing hand and went back on the table. The watch was below my wrist. Legal or not? I suspect not.
1a) What if the ball just hit my wrist? My forearm?

2) No one at our club does it but I was told boosting is legal. My understanding was that any boosting is illegal however non VOC just cannot be detected.

3) Your non playing hand cannot touch the table. What about your playing hand. If off balance can you use it to stready yourself? What about learning your forearm on the table.

I've been a bit lazy here and not looked up the rules but discussion is always fun.

Rule 3 is correct; however, I'm not too sure about your playing hand and your forearm :(

Not legal - opponent's point as hit something other than the net assembly before being returned. It has to be struck with racket or racket hand...

see above - racket hand below wrist = ok, forearm = not ok

racket has to be without any "physical, chemical or other treatment." Depends on definitions of physical, chemical and treatment - but boosting would be illegal if changes the way the rubber behaves, I believe... grey area here, others can chime in

Your playing hand can touch the table (except for a wheelchair competitor, for some reason). Forearm, foot, you can even stand on the table - as long as you don't move it!

Another fun fact, bat MUST be in hand ( no definition if playing hand or other hand ;-) hand-swap shots ;-) ) when contacting the ball. You cant throw your racket at the ball and have it hit ball return and run to pickup your racket to continue the game. I see soooo many players throw their racket at the net or edge ball uselessly especially among the state- and national- level players. Totally pointless and equipment abuse.

Here is a question.
on a serve the ball lightly brushes your finger, serve is good. Is it a let? or play on?

If the finger involved is on the hand holding your bat, play on.

If the finger involved is on your free hand not holding your bat, fault.
