I was quite amused by the "professional vs. amateur" labels.. :lol: More like coached club players vs. people-off-the-street (I don't think those were even basement players - basement players wouldn't try to throw the ball up like a tennis player :lol: ).

This is more or less what I encountered when they set up a table at the shopping mall over the last Chinese New Year. Most people just can't handle table tennis balls and sponge rackets. So you 1000 level players out there - take comfort in the fact that you play better than 99.8% of the general population!! :lol:

Yeah we all seem to forget just how even a bottom division player getting 2-4 points a game vs a high division player is vastly more competitive than a bottom player vs someone off the street.
