My home TT setup is in a basement game room. The trouble is that it has no in-built climate control or ventilation. After 30 minutes playing or practicing, the room is overheated and I am dripping perspiration.

Does anyone have a method for using fans to vent/circulate air in way which does not affect the balls' flight?

If you have a window in the basement, the best thing to do is get a room air conditioner. If the window is the type that won't support a room air conditioner, get a portable room air conditioner and vent it out the window. If there are no windows in the basement, then your only option is a ductless split air conditioner/heat pump. The last option can get pretty pricey though.

Fans won't help with humidity but if that's your only option, put a cyclone type fan at the door pointing away from the room. The idea is to use the fan to suck the hot air out of the room.
