Won’t the Ittfcukers fine them for that?

Oh!! I think you're talking about T2. It's part of the format to hurry matches along (among other things - there's also no "deuce"). As you know, scoring is based on the number of games won in the 25 minute match period. One of two things can happen - the first, you simply run out of time. Whoever is ahead at 25 minutes wins that particular game. The second is, you complete a game with less than a certain amount of time (I forget what - 2 minutes?) left on the clock. In such cases, they play a "kill zone" match - simply a match to five points, no deuce. You win that, it's another game on your team's score. It does add to the excitement, sort of - will they make it to the Kill Zone or not? Sometimes you'll have someone trying to keep the rallies long in order to prevent an additional (Kill Zone) game while the other person is trying to finish the game quickly so that there WILL be a Kill Zone game.

I'm curious if anyone else uses this format. How about that pro league in India? Or the Chinese Super League? Or did it begin (and will end) with T2? T2 IS interesting to watch, even if the usual tensions aren't there (I mean, who really cares if Team Rossi or Team JJ wins on a given day?). Getting to watch Boll and Harimoto square off now and then IS fun, even if there isn't really much at stake (from your point of view). And they HAVE found some interesting players who aren't ranked that high - Bernadette Szocs can be spectacular (and I don't mean the screaming), and there's that Chinese female chopper who's beaten some top-30 players despite not having a world ranking (can't remember the name). And Joo is always fun to watch.

Thanks Isk, just googled it and checked it out, saw the Szocs game, nah, it’s not for me, another gimmick!
