This is one of my weakest areas. I have no problem during practice but problems in matches (too predictable). It feels like I can focus on not missing + power, but not much room for placement.

Do you
1) Give up some power for a while to focus on placement?
2) Practice some combo moves so you automatically place the ball a certain way?
3) Observe where your opponent is and place the ball accordingly (too hard for 1400 level)?

And introduce point practice where your objective is to place the ball in a specific spot.

Ma_Xin, Be a tactician observe your opponents game & try to keep the ball away from the strong points of her/his game.... cramp them & don't you be predictable. :?: :up:
