Today I was watching a match between Alvaro Robles from Spain and Quadri Aruna from Nigeria. Aruna I believe is sponsored by Joola but was wearing Gewo on his shirt. Robles is sponsored by Gewo but appeared to have Butterfly on his shirt. Does the sponsor sponsor the whole team and if so do the players get to use their own equipment? I'd assume this is the case and is more of a naming rights agreement. Either that or the above players have changed sponsors recently. I can't imagine they would be made to use the sponsors equipment for the event. |

Hmmm that's a really good question... not a good deal for the sponsors it seems... |
