Hey guys,

Recently I've been getting into some social play and competitions around where I live, but I'm going to be in Adelaide during the month of December and was wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can play with others and maybe have shorter competitions (e.g. weekly)?

I've looked on google and Facebook but haven't been able to find much info. If its relevant, I'm 23 years old, male, and will be living 5 mins from the CBD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There's the Woodville and Payneham table tennis clubs which are closest to the city, that should be open most of Dec, and these are quite big and do run local competitions. A little further is Brighton table tennis club (my club), which will definitely be open Dec, and they also run a local competition Monday & Tuesday night (top grades Monday, lower grades Tuesday).

Hey haggisv, thanks for the info! will definitely check out those places. Also came across the Adelaide Table Tennis Club website although there's not much info on local competitions, just the larger ones. With the local comps, how long do they run for (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly etc)? Do I need to sign up early in advance? Just wondering as I won't be able to visit in person until December.

Yep, Adelaide is a very good one too, and not too far. All the clubs mentioned are within about 20mins drive from the city, if you have a car.
For competition you usually have to sign up before they start, but they're always looking for fill-ins, so if you contact them, you should get some games almost every week.
