Hey everyone! I'm getting back into the sport and just bought a Joola Tour 2500 for my living room. If anyone is in San Diego and would like a practice partner, let me know. I'm 10 minutes from downtown. I always have good craft beer in the fridge as well! Cheers! |

Welcome to the forum! Since you are so close to downtown, why don't you come to SDTTA in Balboa Park, near Navy Hospital, inside the Activity Center, you can even walk over there. We open 6 days a week, doors open at 3:00 pm to 9 pm on weekdays except Wednesdays (close), opens at 9 am on weekends. (for details, please visit SDTTA website sdtta.org). Non members pay $5 a day or pay thru the year for $50, definitely worth the money! We have over 25 tables in the club with lots of regular players and a few OOAK's member, me included. Please come on in and ask for one of the friendly board members, Steve, Bob , Phil, just to name a few. Either you join a player with a table waiting for partners or just grab a table in the storage room and players will find you. Most of the time, I will wear OOAK's T shirt when I play in the club but I only play on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. |

SS, You visit that place and you can make a few things happen for yourself. Tat is USATT 800, you will have a real easy time with him. Did I leave out a "1" somewhere? Did I leave out that Tat is real friendly? Did I mention he hates playing doubles (not)? Did I mention that Der_Echte causes too much trouble. I hope to visit that club late July once more. |
