Hello everyone,
I am currently doing my GCSE coursework for DT. I found that some sports are quite difficult to practice alone and thought table tennis was a good example, so I chose to explore this further. It would be very helpful if you could fill out the survey so that I can get some information from actual players.

Current things that can be done alone that directly bear on table tennis:
Shadow play (both footwork and stroke)
Robot (simple ones will shoot the same shot, more complex ones can do a sequence of shots)
Return board (mostly set the board at an angle so that it will "return" your shot to the table)
Visualization

Then there is general agility, explosiveness, conditioning exercise.

I found it's artificial intelligence to be too limited.
