I don't know if there's a non-gender way of saying 'gentleman’s agreement'... I think it's a generally accepted 'saying', not really gender specific, but I guess some could perceive it as such.

RE 'gentleman's agreement', I was not being absolutely serious, just having found the "he". I thought that the smiley would have given away that I was joking.

Can we make a gentleman's agreement that 'gentleman's agreement' is fine? :)
