While I happen to be an online trainer myself (for health, athleticism, weight loss, muscle gain, etc.), I'm certainly not qualified to coach table tennis remotely.

Still just a scrub, intermediate player dreaming of being like Joo Se Hyuk when I grow up :)

But it makes me wonder...Are there any prominent online table tennis coaches around today? If so, what's your opinion on the efficacy of having an online coach for table tennis?

Do you think it's a viable way to improve your skills?

Personally, I had a great experience with Greg Letts (nearly 10 years ago!), but I'm not sure he's still doing it.

Would love to hear your guys' thoughts on it!

A really good example is Brett Clarke and William Henzell. Check out this thread, it's basically for people who've been following the videos:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28641

If you HAVEN'T been following the videos you'll soon get lost, because they refer to specific videos in the thread. You can still pick up quite a lot, in particular Brett's secret to producing heavy, heavy spin in serves. The techniques being discussed are pretty high level rather than basic, but I the video series goes all the way from rank beginner to international level. I've watched a few that have been posted to YouTube (most are not), and have found them to be very easy to understand.

Thanks for sharing! I really like the video analysis. Seems very fairly in depth
