I thought that players couldn't agree to play a let - if the opponent decides that he has won the point unfairly, due to a poor umpire call, and he is a decent sportsman, he concedes the next point...

At 9.40 in this video, the umpire makes a call (I think) that the serve on the server's side (in doubles) is on the wrong side, and awards the point to the opponents. There is a lot of arguing back and forth, but it is actually between the players - the umpires don't get involved. After a long delay, they replay the point.

Without looking at the match, I can tell you that in theory the umpire's decision is final. However in practice if I have made an initial call that both players agree is wrong, then I may amend the call if it is not clear cut.
