Haven't touched my gear bag in 4 months now I think. So I thought I would dig it out and clean out the Neubauer stuff. Well, I got rid of around (lol) about 10 sheets of semi used Super Block and verious other now illegal rubbers. I did find a sheet of new distroyer OX. So I started thinking again. (Sometimes that's not a good thing) found an old blade of mine (A. Grubba) and glued it on. Put a sheet of 999 on the FH and just the smell of the glue made me happy. Twiddleing the bat made me feel good and brought back the desire to play again. Was a littler scared for awhile cause I wasn't feeling it anymore. But the glue (and no I didn't catch a buzz off it either) got me think about playing again. So now its been 4 months and I have till January befopre I can play. I think I will be OK.

Glad the urge too play again is now pumping Joe, im sure not being too active but just blocking for a friend wont do much harm.
With moving too destroyer you will find a loss of reversal, but it will open up a whole new bag of tricks for you, a new trick is being able to attack with it.
999 might be to heavy for the fh, perhaps when you start up again a tensor in thin sponge.

You wouldn't be the first or last on that one...
Also, some people after a period of vacuum comes back even better. It's like the skills, training, whatever had the chance to settled down and got immersed...

No fair. *stomps one good foot*

Good luck Joe, hope you get playing again soon. Can't say I've felt the slightest dis-interest in TT yet. I'd almost welcome it to stop the pain!

Speedplay, two things make sense why.

1. BH wants to have a training parter who cannot do LP chops, but needs him to block with the SB during training.

2. Varg asked him for a bat with SB.

3. BH wants a start on a TT museum.

I think I'd like a sheet of SB just to see what all the fuss of banning it is all about. And its not like I'll be actually USING it lol. Well perhaps by the time I get back to TT they might have legalised it again I suppose
