That's a good question you posted... I suspect that anyone with an answer simply has not seen it.
Perhaps start a new thread with the same question, hopefully someone provide some answers, or at least add the the discussion.

Hah don't be silly If you can run a phpBB forum, you could definitely run a Discord server!

To be fair, there may not be any interest, but it's a bit more "modern". It's like a real-time chat forum, but has loads of flexibility including Question & Answer type posts/threads. You can still appoint moderators etc. and it's easy to post YouTube or other social media links with previews. The app is really good and it's available on every OS and phone, plus a browser version.
