Well - not into a lot lately, TT kind of displaced other hobbies. To give you something to work with: as LordCope mentioned, I do have background in science (physics PhD), but don't work in academia (lots of data analysis and applied statistics, though). Love good food, drink, and travel. More of a cat person, so 'Big Dog' is a bit off, and I better not tell my wife that this is the first thing that came to your mind, Reb - she's giving me enough hard time about creeping waist size already |( .

May be I could be "Chop blogger"? It sounds cute...

Hmmmm...what to do?

"Ctchtchtchtchtchtchtchetinine" (Because he thinks Chtchet's spelling makes no sense)

Or how about "Modern Offender" (Not because he's offensive or anything, but I think it's pretty funny)

So why the Big Dog in your avatar then?

I like Chop Blogger actually, got some good connotations and play on words. But we have to kick the bucket around a bit more and see what falls out. Can't take the first thing. Especially when its your own suggestion :P :lol:

Now PhD makes you Doctor of course...so we might work that in. Chop Doctor? Doctor Blog? Doctor Chop-blog!! Oh, I think we have a winner!! :up: :party:

Aaah - that's where dog came from... I'm very slow sometimes. I like that picture for whatever reason. Hmm - "Dr. Chop-blogger" has a nice ring to it (but so is "Modern Offender").

I like "Modern Offender" and "Dr. Chop-Blogger" both. I'm biased toward the first.

"PHD = Placement, Height, Depth" (Rules for effective chopping)

Ha, that's funny. But I think plain ole "Dr. Chop-Blogger" is better. Besides, you don't want to offend a PhD by comparing them to fake doctors....aka Medical Doctors. :devil:

As someone who works in medicine (I'm a RN and clinical informaticist)it was calculated. :devil:

And MDs don't know how to draw blood typicially. :lol:
