Thanks, everyone! And Alex, thanks for this fun contest, and for your generosity with the prize! I do like writing poetry. I must say, personally I thought TraditionalTradesman's poem was one of the best--it was witty, creative, and had a great rhyme pattern. I also liked VincentB's edge tape poem--only a table tennis afficionado could love and appreciate a poem like that! Of course, that didn't quite move me to vote for either of those, as I cast off my last shred of dignity and voted for myself. . Maybe Fattchoi's words now apply to me-- "I am a RAT." Anyway, I humbly accept the prize. A suggestion for the next contest, Alex, might be something that taps into another area of expertise, which I believe you even mentioned earlier--coming up with a cool and creative table tennis avatar. I have next to NO talent in that area, but I would love to see work by those that do. Thanks again to those who voted for me, and I look forward to trying out the new rubber!

I'd like to thanks everyone for participating in the little competition! I think everyone took it as a little competition more for fun than anything, which is how it was meant to be... I've really enjoyed it and I look forwards to the next one

No I don't have that information, and even if I did, it would be up to the individuals to reveal their vote, not me

Well done Jim. I nearly got around to finishing one. It was quite enlightening though researching iambic pentameters and Haiku.

When's the next comp? Can't wait, seems like alot of fun!
