Hey everyone... Got my Newgy Robo Pong 2050 today...

Worked with it for about 3 hours. Wow what a work out. If was fun and challenging.

I'm getting into TT more seriously now. (I've been recreational player since I was a teenager.) I'm 39 now and need something to help me lose the weight I've put on and get those old competitive juices flowing again.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd drop a line... Looking forward to improving... both on the table and in health.

Jax

3 hours with the robot is a long time. Take care not to introduce repetitive strain to some part of your body by over-working it too quickly. Its easy to do without realising it when you're having fun. Anyway, congrats on getting your robot, hope it helps you achieve your goals!

Steady use is key. Practise like one or two one-hour sessions a week.

I play at the club about six hours a week and I'm getting better. Get the basic stroke down frst. Work on consistency. My coach told me he had to do 100 forehand counterdrives in a row just to get to start looping. I think I got to 20. I can do around 60-70 now.
