Hi guys , I wonder if anybody replaced Oscillation Servo Motor. Oscillation does not work on mine 2050 circa 2014.
Anybody knows the power of servo, they are wildly available just need the right power I guess.

Newgy usually sells these parts, which would ensure you get the right one. Note though that not all the 2050 use the same servo, they changed it at some stage.

Are you sure it's the servo that died, not the controller? Open up the controller box, and have a look to see if you can see any burnt parts, or if it smells like a part might have burnt.

but it can be with a reversed polarity meaning I will get backhand shots instead of forehand ones

Ordered that servo on Amazon, see what will happened.

My controller works for all the functions. It is the head that would not oscillate for any of the drills.

That looks like the servo for the new controller. Is your the newer model?

I used to repair these, and sometimes it was only the servo driver electronics that failed, everything else was still working.
Hopefully yours is ok, and the new servo will fix it.

Out of interest, how much is the new servo?

Servo was only $20 delivered, but the problem was in the main controller PCB. Still waiting for a new one from NEWGY
