Hi. I'm beginner table tennis player. I just bought a newgy 2040 from Gumtree. It's missing the control box. So my question is has anyone got a control box for sale. Perhaps people who upgraded their 2040 to 2050. Thanks

I'm wondering if he ever got one.. Newgy would probably sell him one.

Speaking of which - I made the interesting discovery that Eacheng (on AliExpress) sells the Newgy Robo Pong 2040 and 2050. They're running a sort of App Sale AliExpress wide right now, seems to be 13% off all items on AliExpress. For the 2040 and 2050 - $846.94 and $903.12 - if you use the app they're $804.59 and $857.96. Mind you, this is Free Shipping. The prices on newgy.com are $579 and $749 respectively, so "shipping" on the 2050 is about a hundred dollars with the "app sale". The newgy.com prices include shipping in the US but for us overseas the Eacheng price might well be competitive. Good thing I'm NOT in the market for another robot (where would I put it?) so I don't have to worry about this.. The 2040 does seem portable enough, though, you can set it up with its net fairly quickly.
