It was mentioned a few years ago in this thread (there's a video, too): viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13255

I don't know if it's worth buying a vaguely anthropomorphic robot if it can't provide sufficiently anthropomorphic cues. I'd put the money towards technical features/durability/support/etc…or spend less money for a comparable or more useful suite of features.

Ah...

It's got MUSIC?? Frankly I don't think I could listen to that for very long..

Actually I had more or less the same idea some years ago - why not build a robot where the spin created by bouncing the ball off a sheet of rubber?

Hi,
If you dont need it to be portable and it will stay in the same room as your table, I would recommend a Y and T style, these are also branded as Tibhar robo pro, Butterfy practice partner etc, being on wheels with the fold out net makes then so easy to set up and wheel out of the way compared to the ones that clip on the table, you will need one of the 2 wheel versions for no spin balls, I have a robo pro (single wheel) ultra reliable

If you need one thats easy to take in your car, you will need a clip on model,

I would deffo make sure you get one with a collection net and ball recycling if at all possible rather than one that sits on the table with a hopper to fill

I have an amicus pro now, for its programming ability, still prefer the Y and T style for easy set up tho
