There's always an Ambulance at Go cart clubs or Motocross or anything like that in Australia during a club meeting. They usually don't have them at sporting events. I guess if you had a really large triathlon or marathon then you might have one.

Yes I've never seen one either... I think the events are just not big enough.

They should have an ambulance at veterans table tennis tournaments with all the old people playing.

A few years ago, in Sydney, they used to have a St Johns Ambulance person in attendance at the monthly Vets competition.

Partly predating my involvement, for a few years the president of the local Umpires Association was also a qualified St Johns Ambulance person.

I also seem to remember the odd St Johns Ambulance person in attendance at other scattered events here in Sydney over the years.

In NZ we just park the Ambulance at the bottom of the cliff , rather than build a fence at the top

is expensive to have an ambulance in front of the gym. if they organize courses for coaches, why not organize a first aid course to learn what to do and especially what NOT to do if an accident happens in the gym.

I think you will find in Australia these events are covered by volunteer St Johns Ambulance officers & cadets
