I don't believe in the acid alkaline food theory anymore, I have blood tests every other week and for decades Ive been running borderline too alkaline. It's only since I deliberately acidified myself that my gut has started to improve. The small intestine gets overgrowth of dodgy bacteria and fungi if its not acid enough. I was taking acid tablets for a while with meals, works good.

I have a very low intake of processed foods these days. I'll tell you a good way to see how much crap is in your system get someone to pinch your skin/fat and see if you have pain or not. It will be practically impossible to induce pain if the tissue is clean, if its calcified it'll hurt like a bitch.
