It'd be interesting to compare this with the Super Bowl. Considering that 355.6 million is more than the population of the US, it's probably bigger than the Super Bowl, viewer-wise. And then also, I'd expect 99.5% of the Super Bowl audience is in the US...

Hmph. Not bad.

The game, which saw the Denver Broncos win a defensive battle over the Carolina Panthers 24-10, averaged 111.9 million TV viewers.

This number was a decline from last year's record viewership of 114.4 million people on NBC.

The Super Bowl in 2014 had the second largest viewership with an average audience of 112.2 million.

More than 3X the Superbowl audience. Just face it.. there are a lot more people in China than in the US...   Both events seem to have attracted about 1/3 of the respective populations.
