Butterfly Biriba and Pan Asia as well!!! Biriba was what they used to put on the really cheap pre-made Japanese penhold bats (this was in the early 70s). Pan Asia went on pre-made shakehands.

Looks like Yasaka New Era is going as well - this and ZAP were the China-only (except that Eacheng would ship them anywhere you wanted..) Yasakas, made by Palio. The ZAP at least had awful dish problems. Sometimes impossible to attach to a blade without bad things happening (like creased topsheets!).

I've got a 2-pack of Xiying 999 - maybe I should actually use them before they become illegal!

You know, I specifically thought about you and your bargain basement shopping habits when I saw Zap on the list.

As a matter of fact, I still have 3 or 4 sheets of ZAP of various sorts still in the shrink wrap! Never did try New Era, though.

Thanks for the update AndySmith

Strange that Rakza 9 Soft is removed, that's quite new I thought?

BTW Scramble is still on the list, only Scramble 21 is removed.

I found Andro Backside, Reactor Thunder and Yasaka Zap and New Era to be interesting removals. Pretty sure I gave a mate of mine a sheet of Reactor Thunder for some old bats in his shed. I'll have to make him aware that they are illegal if he beats me with one.

Are the Yasaka Zap and New Era authentic ones the same number stamps as the cheap Eacheng ones?

These are the Chinese-made ones (by Palio), that were distributed in the Chinese market, and made it's way outside China. I'm not surprised Yasaka discontinued those, as I don't think they were officially released by Yasaka Japan.

I think Rakza 9 soft was never released.

Correct! This happens fairly often - rubbers are registered but never see the light of day. Xiom do this a lot.

I'm pretty sure they were "released" by Yasaka, though - how else would they have made it into the LARC? Must've been some agreement with Palio, and maybe they were to be made legal so people inside China could legally use them in tournaments. Palio probably paid Yasaka to use the Yasaka name, and the agreement is ending. I doubt huge amounts of these sheets made it out of China, compared to, say, H3 or even CJ8000 (which ZAP strongly resembles, sharing the awful dish problems).

Just looking right now at Eacheng on AliExpress - they still have ZAP and New Era listed for sale, no major discounts. They're running an "app only" sale (if you order through your phone) - looks like a 13 or 14% discount off the entire range of products!
