The status quo endorses the status quo. Mohannadi says 1) he had a strong chance of winning, lol, 2) Weikert has "made positive changes to the sport," 3) since the AGM is in Germany and Weikert is German he "deserves" to be elected in his home country, 4) it wouldn't "be correct" for Saive to win since he's an outsider to international table tennis politics. http://aroundtherings.com/site/A__60074 ... 2/Articles Khalil Al-Mohannadi: “After long discussions with my friends and most importantly my family, even though I believe I had a strong chance of winning the election, I have decided to run for a position on the ITTF Executive Committee.” “I respect both the nominations of Thomas Weikert and Jean-Michel Saive to become the ITTF President, However, I have decided to support Thomas Weikert’s candidacy for the Presidency.
